You can use the Active 10 App to get more active. Walking briskly for just 10 minutes a day can improve your health in numerous ways, including boosting your heart rate and lowering your risk of developing long-term health concerns.

With the Active 10 app, you can track your daily walking and how much of it is “brisk.” Brisk walking is defined as walking faster than usual, causing your heart to beat faster and leaving you slightly out of breath.

Download the free “Active 10” app to track your daily brisk walking and increase it to numerous “Active 10s” throughout the day. The app not only shows how much brisk walking you do, but also how intensely and for how long you do it.

Emily: When recording brisk walking, the device is quite unreliable. I’m well aware that I’ve been moving very quickly. Brisk walking was not recorded for multiple consecutive days on the device. After that, everything was OK for a few days. When I returned from my break, I was back to my rapid walking pace… For a few days, there will be no records. If I delete the app, will it be a mistake? It’s a shame because it was temporarily motivating me while it was in operation.

Katie Bland: This is an excellent Active 10 App. I had never exercised before installing the program, so I set a minimal target of 10 minutes per day as a starting point. When I’m only a few minutes away from completing another active 10, the app really bothers me, which makes me want to keep going. I’ve found that the app inspires me to do even more. It takes me at least 30 minutes every day, and I can clearly feel and see the benefits of doing so.

The Liberal Thinker: This application Active 10 App is simply not properly thought out. It is simply overlooked when it comes to recording quick walking. Today I walked 4 kilometers in 37 minutes, but the app only recorded 11 minutes of that as a vigorous walk. Much worse, yesterday, I worked even quicker than usual, yet the video didn’t record correctly. The distance I have walked has remained consistent over the last four months, but in less time. Despite the fact that the app’s early encouragement and prizes drove me to walk more and faster, the fact that it does not record progress is DISAPPOINTING. Even worse, it diminished the value of my walk. Please take a look at it.

Sarah Chalkley: I really liked it at first, but now I’m finding that it isn’t capturing brisk walking, which is faster than earlier treks that it had recognized. So, after initially finding the app to be quite inspiring, I now find it to be disappointing and demotivating. It’s a real shame. It is often discouraging to learn that others have experienced the same difficulties.

Roger Hollis: Unfortunately, it used to operate precisely, but it has ceased recording any “brisk” walking in the last few months. I’ve tried removing and reinstalling the software, which works for a few days before returning to erroneous recording! It’s a shame because I found the app to be quite motivating! 7-3-2022 Update: I removed the program and reinstalled it, and it now works properly. We’ll see how long it lasts.

Peter Tedstone: This used to function great at first, but they modified it last August, and I lost all of my awards as a result. Then it worked OK for a while, but today I went to the grocery and walked around the shop for 40 minutes, and it claims I haven’t walked at all today.

Tracy Riley: Like many other users, I’m becoming increasingly dissatisfied with this application. I’ve been using it for more than a year, and it was initially really motivating for me. Over the last few weeks, the app hasn’t been properly registering my walks. My app reported 18 minutes of walking today, of which just 3 minutes were supposedly brisk, despite the fact that I walked for at least 60 minutes. I’ve stayed with the app in the hopes that it will improve, but there has been no indication of any improvement. I’m wondering whether or not to abandon the app altogether and just use my Fitbit instead.

Michaela: You don’t have to remember to press the start button when you go for a stroll with this app. Page 3 of the previous version had a basic side-by-side comparison of the last 30 days. This will be helpful in the future. This mysteriously vanished a few weeks ago, replaced by what appears to be a completely new design. I’ve lost all of my previous records. To make matters worse, I would have taken a screen print if this had been made known to me beforehand.

Rakesh B: Although quite simple, it is adequate. I’ve been using it for a year and have had no big issues. It would be more useful if it had a few additional functions, but I’m concerned that the added complexity may detract from the overall quality and dependability. UPDATE: The new version has certain bugs. It keeps telling me there is an update when I am already on the most recent version. 2021: I have to close my phone as soon as the app begins to run in order to avoid gazing at that radnom individual. Please delete that image from your website; it is incredibly demotivating.

Mandy Barnes: It got off to a great start, and I was on track for a higher score if it hadn’t started logging my automobile trips. Because of the sluggishness of the economy at this time, I’ve looked through the settings to see if there’s anything missing, but there isn’t. Unfortunately, asvi was having a great time, but the data is no longer reliable. It’s a real bummer.

Peggy Cain: It’s a mediocre application. The time you spend moving and how much of that time was brisk is recorded as long as you have your phone in your pocket. It does appear to lose information from one day to the next, which is a little disappointing because you could compare your travels over the course of a week or months – which would be worthless if the information wasn’t being saved consistently. The app does contain information, or rather, links to other areas, such as healthy eating, which can be found elsewhere on the internet.

J Freshwater: Having your phone in your hand or pocket is all you need to get started. A Fitbit would have been too excessive for me, as I had a high BMI and just wanted to walk a few blocks at a time. It’s all up to you. When you meet your goals, the app gives you virtual party poppers. If you close the app and reopen it, it will show you today instead of yesterday.

Malcolm Wareing: An excellent and simple-to-use App for motivating those of us who do not run. You will receive a gold cup (virtual) for every brisk 10 minute walk that you complete. As a result, it’s enjoyable to establish a goal and strive to surpass it (with no pressure). Every day is different; some days I barely manage 10 minutes, and other days I achieve 80 minutes or more. It’s wonderful to be active and to feel better about oneself. It comes highly recommended.

Andy Leigh: Update: I returned to this program after a long absence to discover a new and improved version that lacked the extremely useful graph that had previously been present. With the exception of some extremely basic and unhelpful images, there is no way to tell how you’ve progressed over time anymore. Another app has been made less functioning as a result of these changes. For the first 17 days, it served as an excellent motivator. My numbers have been damaged by ghost data for the past three days in a row. I’ve just downloaded an update that I’m hoping will be of assistance to you.

Bern munday: I used to have the original version of Active 10, which was absolutely fantastic. After that, I received a request to update, and the current version is unsatisfactory. There was a timeline in the original, but there isn’t one in the new one, and I’m confident that the tolerances are lower on the new one than they were on the old one because I’ve had some weird readings where activity has been recorded as ‘brisk’ when it is anything but. If I had the option, I would go back to the previous one. The reporting was more complete and accurate as a result of this change. Disappointing

Robert Wheatley: The concept is sound, and the implementation is solid, however the tracking is a major pain point. Occasionally, it will determine that you are not walking briskly even though you are. Furthermore, the app can take up to a minute to load your walks, which is inconvenient for users, especially those with poor or unpredictable internet connections. It’s a terrific concept, and it’s helped me stay healthy and motivated to go out, but there are certain issues that need to be addressed.

Boo Seal: For the first time, I utilized this software. For 16 minutes, I walked as fast as I could, and it only said I’d done 2 minutes of brisk walking?!?! Neither am I in poor health. If you’re walking up a hill, you’ll be moving slower but harder because the app doesn’t appear to take elevation into account. There was no option to enter my age, height, or weight, so it probably uses the same algorithm to determine if I’m walking fast enough regardless of this critical facts..

Tony Carroll: It’s great that this app encourages you to go for a walk. As others have noted, however. It doesn’t deliver what it promises in terms of outcomes. Is the way you carry or position the phone important? In my pants pocket, it works well, however in my breast pocket, it doesn’t even register. So I figured it would make for a more stable walking experience. So I put it in a leg side pocket and it recorded nothing. Also, it doesn’t take into consideration hill walking at a slower but more intense pace.

jenny wright: The fact that the app does not always count the brisk steps has left me feeling quite frustrated. Put my phone in my pocket and it will count steps, but not rapid steps. It is necessary for the phone to be held in my hand in order for it to function properly. This was something that took me a long time to figure out. The fact that other individuals had had the same problem was encouraging, and I made the decision to try holding it as a result. There is no place on the app to discuss issues like these. Whenever it performs as expected, I find it to be extremely useful and inspirational.

Martin Rees: The Active 10 app worked perfectly for a few days, then it just sort of stopped in the background, causing me to lose a few days’ worth of data. In order to resolve the issue, I closed and reopened the app. After that, it operated for over a week until updating itself and crashing my phone. This time, I was unable to recover any of my data. In essence, a good idea, defining objectives, and so forth. However, the reality is that I’ve only had one full week’s worth of records from a month, which contradicts the purpose of using the app in this instance. If things improve, I may up the rating….it was a 5 till it first failed, and then it was a 2.

Maggie Martin: The same may be said for the Active 10 app. I switched it on, as well as my Fitbit. I went for a 17-minute walk. Active 10 reports that I walked 5 miles, with 4 of those miles being brisk. I’ve already gone into my settings and marked off the option to allow it to go past the battery conservation mode, so that shouldn’t be the issue at this point. I’ve also had it be accurate on a couple of occasions, so that shouldn’t be a problem either, again. I’d like to see if I can get an accurate version of this going. Continuing—I’ve just returned from an 11-minute walk. Four minutes, one brisk…;( according to the app.
